Cine TV “Roberto Rossellini”, aged 15-18 who have done this job such as school assignment.
In such an important season and above all a season full of National and International events for regional volleyball, as Men’s World League’s match, Italy-Poland at Foro Italico, and Womens World Championship at PalaLottomatica, from 23th to 28th of September, I’m glad that Rome can embrace and host also European Volleyball Tournament for Statisticians, an event in which hundreds of amateur’s volleyball players will take the field. The eternal city, icon of art and culture, is ready to act a key role in this event, under the “Cupolone” (St Peter’s cupola) the best european statisticians will spike, surrounded by a coloured globe. In Rome, the city of volleyball, turned into sports and social “melting pot”, athletes from all over our Continent will arrive, for a total amount of 40 teams and more that will face in a special day for all european statisticians. It’s going to be an event rich of contents under competitive, social, and recreational aspect and for sports aggregation.
It’s with great pleasure that Fipav Lazio Regional committee gives his support to the 25th European Championship’s organization, and the longevity of this event holds itself the rules of success and good result. It will be a peculiar day for each leading actor, who will do battle to award the victory. To all competitors I address a huge good luck.

Dear international colleagues from National lnstitutes of Statistics,
it is with great pleasure that we welcome you all to the 25° EVS in Rome, Italy, on next 13 15 June 2014.
I am particularly proud that the twenty-fifth edition of this tournament, an important anniversary, will take place in Italy and I am looking forward to hosting the several statisticians who will participate in this European Volleyball tournament. Our wish is to see a wide representation from all the different regions of Europe.
We trust that this is an additional occasion to show the relevance to spend time together, even for leisure activities, to share and compare, also in a relaxed and festive atmosphere, our common interests for science and research and to exchange views on the respective successes and difficulties that we all face while working in the field of statistics.
I also want to thank the Italian Volleyball Federation for the support provided for the organization of this edition of the volleyball tournament.
Rome is not only the Italian capital, but also an historical jewel of our old continent that everybody in the world knows and aims to visit sooner or later. I am confident that all the participants will take advantage and appreciate this opportunity.
Let me therefore wish you an enjoyable stay in Rome and thank you very much for your presence here and participation in the EVS.
